Ball Colegrave Summer Open Days provide Parks, Communities and Landscapers lots of creative ideas & colour planting combinations to inspire your own planting schemes.

Our "Trends" programme of colour combinations could make a useful resource for your design team in choosing varieties and colour themes that really work well together.

One of the major issues facing the Parks sector today is the decline in design skills. This is not to say that there has been a loss of creativity as such, but due to skills shortages, or time constraints, it could be hard to come up with a new and novel bed design.

It’s possible that there are only so many combinations you can come up with before having what you could call a writer’s block in the gardening sense. For this reason, we thought we’d use the resources we have available to us to help you out. To save you time and jump start your creativity, we’ve put together a CD, called the Parks Toolkit. The instructions are enclosed with the CD.

It would be great if we could continue in this vain and share ideas and trends every year. We’d love it if you sent in photos of your own Parks beds, or let us know if you have a great roundabout of our plants and we could send our photographer down. Not only is it great to see different planting combinations, but it’s also nice to see how the plants perform in real settings, with environmental influences constantly present.

We hope it helps you, and please remember we welcome all feedback.
