Revolutionise Your Colour Sales

The typical home gardener visiting your Garden Centre is likely to be getting younger; they buy with their eyes, look for easy, fashionable and colourful garden solutions and are more typically cash rich, time poor.

As horticulturalists we often take for granted how daunting it really can be for the average shopper to combine flower colours, plant forms and choice of container to create a particular garden style or mood. But the home gardener wants quick results and if left too long deciding how to bring a simple colour theme together, soon gives up and walks away with nothing.

We want to help you make it easy for you to capture these sales. That’s where Trends can help!

By working together with Hortipak, our "Trends Garden Decorator’s Guide" sets out an easy, step-by-step plan on how to transform your seasonal plant displays into a powerful selling area that your customers will love;

Trends brings together plant colour themes, pots and merchandising ideas to deliver a program that is easy and fun for grower, retailers and consumers to be creative and inspired.

Our 18 Trends colour theme and planting combinations have been brought together with handpicked top garden performing varieties, tried and tested in our own trial grounds, to deliver a product that delivers excitement and success for the home gardener, turning a good plant into a premium sales opportunity for Growers and Retailers.

There are just 3 easy steps to transform your seasonal plant displays into a powerful selling area

Step 1:
Identify your favourite colour themes from our range of 18 Trends options below. You can simply download a PDF leaflet which lists our recommended plant varieties and even some suggested ideas for plant combinations to get started with.

Step 2:
Discuss with your Grower your chosen theme and selection of plant varieties. Talk with your teams about how to turn your seasonal plant display into an inspirational area with these themes. You will be surprised what great ideas come out.

Step 3:
Contact our Trends partner HortiPak  to order your off-the-shelf POS or create your own bespoke merchandising display. Click on the picture below to visit the HortiPak website.

Scotsdales Garden Centre embrace Trends

Scotsdale’s one of the UK’s top independent family owned Garden Centres with 3 sites in Cambridgeshire where plants are at the heart of the business, were inspired by the Trends colour themed retail displays on a visit to the 2015 Summer Showcase at Ball Colegrave. Managing Director Caroline Owen knew immediately this was a huge opportunity for Scotsdales and Ball Colegrave to work together and become a flagship store for this campaign.
