Grow Your Autumn Sales!

NEW Erysimum Spring Breeze Sunset

Polyanthus Showstopper Cream 2 litre pot

Pansy Cool Wave... perfect for hanging pots

It’s now time to order for your Autumn-Spring colour

We are delighted to present the 2020 Autumn Portfolio which brings together our highly recommended varieties for autumn and spring production, plus stunning new additions released since you received your 2020 Catalogues.

Highlights include the brand new Erysimum Spring Breeze series, which potted early autumn is perfectly suited for early spring flowering 1 to 2 litre pot sales.

In the Primrose class we have an extensive range of varieties to meet your every need. Whether that be Bonneli for early autumn pack and pot sales, through to Husky for later flowering spring sales or our most popular Alaska series which falls in-between for mid-season promotions.

Our range of Primrose novelties provide eye-catching, added value opportunities in larger 11 to 13cm pots, including the popular Emotions, a striking mixture of unique flower forms. Or why not try planting 3 plugs of our Polyanthus Stella or Showstopper series directly into a 2 litre pot for a fantastic premium impulse product for the spring?

Pansy Cool Wave® continues to grow in popularity. Plants trail and spread effortlessly up to 60cm to fill baskets, containers and garden borders fast, with exceptional weather performance and superior overwintering qualities. Being less day length sensitive than other Pansy varieties, Cool Wave® is the first to break into colour in early spring, delivering incredible flower power to the home garden.

The unique branching and controlled habit also mean Cool Wave® are ideally suited for both hanging baskets, patio containers and larger finished pot sales. We recommend transplanting 3 x Ball 104 plugs directly into a hanging pot or 2 litre pot in late summer/ early autumn. These will finish fast for high impact and colourful impulse sales. Look out for the new Raspberry Swirl… it’s a stunner!

With sowings now underway for week 20 plug deliveries of Cyclamen and Polyanthus/Primroses, we do recommend ordering now to ensure you have your autumn programmes in place before it’s too late.

If you would like more information on any of the varieties in this portfolio or wish to place an order, please contact your Technical Sales Representative or our Customer Services Team on orders@ballcolegrave.com
